The rule

English -ment becomes Portuguese -mento: moment → momento, document → documento. Like -ismo, and unlike -ção and -dade, it is masculine: o momento, o documento, os momentos. Stress lands on the nasal men — the same one you stressed in rapidamente: mo-MEN-to.
